Delivered unto Death.

Isn't it highly disheartening that at this time and age people still chase evil spirits by flogging their host? Some to ahead to inflict all manners and dimensions of pain all in the name of sending the evil spirit aways and they charge heavily for this useless service☹️☹️.

I had a patient,  A 22-year old mother of twins who unfortunately was a victim of this madness. When she was initially admitted her relatives said she slipped and fell in the bathroom, really funny because, it was visible to the blind and audible to the deaf that there was more. You don't get deep injuries, charred skin, bruises and burns from a bathroom fall, come up with something better! 

You don't tell such lies in the hospital, you'll finally say the truth. You need help, don't you?? 

The truth did come out.  What happened?

She  was being maltreated by her in-laws, as a result she fell really sick and they went ahead to conclude that it was as a result of the evil spirit in her. Moreso the only way to send the evil spirit out was by deliverance. They flogged her mercilessly and repeatedly, burnt her with fire 😭😭, she also went days without food . They probably did much more than we were told .

Somehow her mother later found out and she went to get her child from the dungeon. She came in a sorry state, but I had high hopes for her. I really wanted her to get back on her feet and live happily again. 

I took time to dress her wounds with so much care, they were too numerous. She had this very deep would a little over her butt, you could see her bone protruding,and oh it was foul smelling and dirty. She even farted on my hand while I was dressing it(funny but not funny). I kept baptizing my hand in spirit for the rest of that day tho, I felt like my hand had been desecrated 😅.

Two days after I started dressing her wound, I was on my way home after the close of work. While in the bus , I got a call "Mimi your patient is dead" . It took so much strength to hold myself till I got home, I finally collapsed in my bed when I did. I didn't cry, I was too broken too, I gave my best just to see her back on her feet, but my best wasn't good enough.

She was taken for "deliverance", she ended up being delivered unto Death.😔😔

I later heard the matter was taken to the Police, the outcome I know not of. But I'm pretty sure somewhere right now there are many people on queue waiting to be delivered. I wonder how many more people will lose their life in this manner?? What would happen to her children??

Shey the best I can do is wonder.🤷🤷

Writing this story brings back all the pain I felt when it happened. I'm really sad ☹️☹️
