The empty jar.

 Is there any place better than the hospital to see things?? I feel like everything happens in the hospital. People from all walks of life come for one reason or the other and the interesting part is you have to say whatever brought you the way it is , no hiding stuffs if not your issue will follow you home.

Speaking of issues, at a hospital where I once worked, something happened. A lady came to the hospital for issues relating to infertility , part of the investigations required was to examine her husband's sperm.  About two days later the husband came to the hospital alone ,he saw the Doctor and he was told what needed to be done.

He had to produce sperm, which would be put in a jar and sent to the lab. So we gave him one of the private rooms in the hospital to do what he had to do.

Oga came out much later, with an empty jar. 😲😲. What will we send to the lab?? So I asked "oga what Happened?"  " Erm nurse abeg come , the thing ehn e hard me small my sister wan follow you talk abeg"

I obliged. 

 "Nurse good morning"

 "Good morning ma"

 "Erm abeg you go help my brother , e never do this thing before just try help am abeg"   

"How , I wan take help am"

"You know how na , just help am" 

 

We dragged the "help am" till the call ended but she still didn't say how, "help am" was all she said.

The man went back to the room, he came out again some minutes later , his sister wanted to talk to me again. I didn't consider it a problem.

"Ehen , abeg my nurse, you no get all those video for your phone wey e fit look make e take help himself?"

 "No , I no get ma. Make e use in phone na, me I no get"

Again the call ended. The man went back inside and came out again. This time another nurse was there .she suggested that we gave him some lubricant to make it easier. That we did ,so  again he went inside and came out again empty handed ! But it was the last time because he came out frustrated (I felt sorry for him🙃) poor man. 

He just told us plainly, "nurse I no fit , I no fit abeg , I go try another time" . So we let him go with the jar.  

He came back two days later, this time with his wife 😊😊 in a happier state,  apparently the issue had been fixed. We had sperm in the jar!!!😂

That spelt progress for them, of course sperm was sent to the lab and their doctor appointments continued happily ever after! 😝😄.
