Mad oh!🤣🤣

 If I want to spend the rest of my working days laughing hard, watching dramas and  maybe feature in some, replaying  scenes from work in my head and laughing uncontrollably in my car , on the street or wherever I find myself ; I'd definitely specialize in psychiatry!

Yesso, psychiatry. Two months of psychiatric posting and I watched more comedy movies than has ever been produced by any film industry, moreso they were 100% original. Should we copy Netflix and call it PSY original?🤷🤣

Now go back and read, there's absolutely no where I said  all you do in psychiatry is watch comedy show and laugh on the contrary, there's so much work. Kudos to any medic who chooses pyschiatry👊. Apart from your work, you're exposed to high level violence. Your patients can attack you at anytime following instructions from their commandants who are not visible or audible to us. 

Dear citizens of DOYFN Nation , I was at work one day, there wasn't anything to do at that moment but if you ever find yourself in a psychiatric hospital, there's always one thing to do— be on the lookout ❗, if not  hmmmm , okay ooo🤐🤐🤐 when you wake up on the hospital bed with bandage on your head and you find yourself asking "where am I? What happened to me?" 🤣🤣, You'd  understand better.

Back to the story, I sat on a chair in the ward not too far from the patients. One patient just walks up to me, as soon as I saw him, my entire body parts became alert; my brain and my legs most especially. I will not be used as a case study in Jesus name 🤣🤣. But fortunately he didn't mean any harm, he just wanted to gist me. 

The gist began. "Nurse them say na 52 people dey this hospital oo" and immediately he bursts out into a fatuous laughter. "52 oh 52" , "I Waka this hospital 52 times",   he pauses for about five seconds  then the laughing resumes again in a louder pitch.  Suddenly he returns to his bed to continue the laughter, he kept screaming "52"   in between he  mumbled some meaningless statement in between. It seemed to me that every statement me made was funnier than the previous one, because the laughter and excitement increased after a new statement. If you have seen any nolly wood movie that involves a mad person, you shouldn't have trouble creating this scenario in your head. 

One patient was not having it again , he came to me laughing, and  said "nurse this guy must be mad, why is he talking to himself and laughing, oh my God this guy is crazy"

I had been battling with holding in my laughter but honestly it would have taken some super powers for me to keep holding it at that point. I mean did a crazy guy just call another guy crazy???🤣🤣 Father Lord!! That did not just happen, nooo, are you "kidney" me??  Soon it was two crazy guys and a nurse laughing for different reasons. What a glorious sight to behold that must have been😂😂

Anyways that was the highlight of my shift,  I made sure I told my entire family the story when I got home. I heard different comments like "maybe their madness different", "maybe e never reach time for am to display in own", "maybe  e no true true dey mad", "mad people dey know say another person dey mad?" I would like to know what your own comments would be.
